Our aim is to create tailored energy solutions for evolving global energy markets. About the role: Technology is a key enabler for BW Offshore’s business development and digital transformation. We are now looking for a Tech Lead Azure development to take a leading role in shaping our cloud platform and architecture. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our Azure platform is secure, scalable and ready for future growth. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation while driving structure, direction and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. You will be part of a small, collaborative team in Arendal, working closely with colleagues across our global organisation. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Lead development and evolution of our Azure platform and architecture Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code Drive migration of workloads from on-premise environments to Azure Translate business needs into robust and practical technical solutions Ensure security, governance, performance and cost optimisation of cloud services Improve integrations, platform capabilities and ways of working Support adoption of AI capabilities through secure and structured implementation Contribute to modernisation, automation and management of selected applications and SaaS solutions Qualifications: Higher education within IT, engineering or similar (relevant experience may compensate) Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform or similar) Knowledge of integrations, APIs and data platforms (e.g. SQL, Data Factory, Fabric or Purview) Understanding of cloud security, governance and compliance Background from software development is an advantage Skills: Ability to bridge business and IT with a stakeholder-oriented mindset Proactive, curious and comfortable challenging assumptions Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to prioritise and handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment Structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive progress independently Comfortable influencing without formal authority Experience from international environments or mentoring is an advantage Why apply?
