Where You’ll Make a Difference
Develop and apply ingredient solutions (emulsifiers, enzymes, hydrocolloids, proteins, etc.) in bakery, bars, and confectionery systems as per customer requirements.
Prepare recipe formulations, conduct trials, and recipe optimization aligned with product performance targets (texture, shelf life, cost efficiency).
Prepare lab-scale and pilot-scale product prototypes for internal evaluation and customer submissions.
Generate structured trial reports sensory, physical, and shelf-life analysis. Prepare stability reports, and technical documentation with clear conclusions and recommendations.
Manage raw materials and finished bases in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) which includes Proper labelling and traceability, Shelf-life adherence, Stock control and replenishment, Contamination prevention
Operate and maintain bakery and confectionery processing equipment (mixers, ovens, depositors, etc.).
Demonstrate strong awareness of food safety, chemical handling, and HACCP protocols.
Support customer projects through application trials, troubleshooting, and technical recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, regulatory, sales) to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Master’s degree in food technology, food biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline.
Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role in NPD, R&D, Application of B2C / B2B Food ingredient companies with special emphasis on Bakery, Bar and Confectionery segment.
Knowledge of enzyme / emulsifiers / stabilizers / protein applications, raw materials and industrial manufacturing processes.
Ability to independently manage end‑to‑end projects with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of automated systems and computer task management tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as required.

The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredient business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners.
