Job Description
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: (but not limited to)
- Leading the Regional engineering team to establish and develop partnerships with vendors, drive improvements in Efficiency, Quality considering business priority via the application of Manufacturing Excellence best practices and continuous improvement activities within the supplier base.
- Deliver effective implementation of GSD tool to provide fact based SMV’s to the supply chain and Ensure improvements are sustained.
- Must possess deep functional subject matter knowledge to guide your teams’ actions and behaviors, breaking down complex concepts and information to delegate operational tasks to achievable outcomes.
- Enhancing and advocating for vendors’ capabilities, aligning use of new technologies, to drive innovation of process and product with the goal of reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Manage performance and drive vendors accountability to results towards value to VF business.
- Fostering and role modeling a culture of inclusion, candor, and trust.
- Support all associates in the team, to ensure they create and drive their individual development plans – and develop a regular cadence of review, Facilities to Acquire work / functional knowledge through active on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
- Challenge the status quo by adopting a creative and curious style that can drive continuous improvement
- Participate in company-wide initiatives to promote VF purpose activation and to improve VF Asia Product Supply systems and processes.
