In this role, you will lead, guide and support a team of ER Specialists and ER Advisors and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
This is a permanent full-time role based in based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland)
Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do
- Lead a team of Employee Relations Advisors and Specialists, championing IAG’s purpose and fostering a high performance, agile culture
- Allocate and review cases and monitor case progress to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Provide expert employee relations advice to people leaders, high level stakeholders and employees.
- Manage the delivery and escalation of employee relations matters to agreed service levels
- Investigate complex ER matters and respond to claims.
- Enable and drive comprehensive reporting, analysis and insights on employee relations
- Conduct P&C due diligence and integration activities
- Collective agreement negotiations and drafting
- Design and ensure appropriate implementation of change initiatives resulting from changes in collective agreements, employment agreements and policies
- Lead and implement training for people leaders and P&C on employee relations
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring
- Strong experience as a senior employee relations practitioner, ideally in a commercial organisation of significant complexity Strong technical expertise in employee relations including case management, workplace investigations, mediations and representation at the Employment Relations Authority.
- People leadership skills (or capability) including experience guiding and supporting team members.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Human Resources, Employee Relations or Employment Law.
