Job Description

Ready to turn deep data and commercial judgement into portfolio choices that grow preschool play? As Senior Marketing Manager, LEGO® DUPLO® and LEGO® Classic (12-month temp. position), you’ll use performance insight, demand signals and brand tracking to guide the Preschool Marketing team’s next growth moves!

Core Responsibilities

As a part of a dedicated and driven Preschool Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager will play a critical role in crafting the Preschool portfolio by leading the strategic development for LEGO® DUPLO® and LEGO® Classic, ensuring a well-balanced assortment mix of "Homegrown" core propositions and world-class IPs to drive global relevance. The responsibilities include:

  • Synthesize sales performance, demand planning data and brand tracking to guide fact-based portfolio decisions.

  • Act as the marketing lead towards preschool IP partners, aligning brand fit and commercial impact.

  • Navigate cross-functional sparring with Design, Concept, Lead Teams and Commercial colleagues to keep strategies executable.

  • Monitor portfolio health across core and licensed lines, identifying growth levers, risks and recruitment opportunities.

  • Transform insights into strategic recommendations and maintain the Project Portfolio Overview system for future cycles.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Our mission is to reach and connect preschool families with the LEGO Brand to establish a foundation for lifelong learning through play. We manage a unique portfolio that blends our foundational core sets with world-class IP partnerships, all designed to spark imagination and creativity and meet children where they are in their developmental journey.

As our new Senior Marketing Manager, you support this mission by ensuring our portfolio strategies resonate deeply with families while driving business results. Reporting to the Business & Marketing Lead, you will act as a strategic partner, translating audience insights and performance data into a clear roadmap, enabling us to build an active consumer base and serve as a source of sustainable long-term growth.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Business or marketing-related degree, or equivalent experience gained through relevant work.

  • Extensive experience in marketing, preferably in a global or regional role, with a proven track record of driving business performance and product development.

  • Comfortable using business analytics to challenge senior partners with clear, data-led insight.

  • Able to spot bottlenecks, act with initiative, and solve problems independently.

  • Commercial judgment across diverse portfolios, including core propositions and high-profile IP partnerships.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to present complex narratives clearly and build alignment across business areas and geographies.

  • Curious about preschool audience behaviours, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and turn insight into action.

Bonus points for:

  • The ability to turn spreadsheet into compelling storytelling, and the confidence to drive decisions where there are trade offs to be made between a concept and a price point

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate internal complexity with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude, maintaining momentum and 'do-er' energy even when faced with shifting priorities.

Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group.

“Our mission is simple yet profound: To recruit and develop the builders of tomorrow. By navigating the intersection of data and play, you play a pivotal role in connecting preschoolers with the LEGO Brand and ignite a lifetime of imagination and learning!”
