Compensation: $37.07 - $55.61 / hour (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)
Perform high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound exams and assist with ultrasound-guided breast biopsies or localized procedures following established protocols.
Provide exceptional, compassionate, and patient-centered care, understanding the sensitive nature of diagnostic breast imaging.
Present detailed technical and imaging findings directly to the reading Breast Radiologist.
Utilize Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and PACS to maintain flawless digital patient records and ensure corporate compliance.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Credentials: ARDMS or ARRT registered. Breast Registry (BR) certification is highly preferred (registry-eligible candidates with strong breast imaging experience must obtain breast certification within 2 years of hire).
Certification: Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire).
Experience: 1–3 years of dedicated breast ultrasound or outpatient imaging experience preferred, but passionate new graduates with strong clinical rotations in breast imaging are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
Perform quality ultrasound exams with the appropriate technical skills and according to the established procedure protocols
Provide for appropriate patient care, safety, education, and an exceptional customer service experience during procedures
Maintain appropriate documentation of patient records especially in the Radiology Information System and PACS Computer systems to meet operating standards, corporate compliance practices, and/or regulatory and accreditation requirements
Present appropriate imaging and technical findings of ultrasound scans to the radiologist/cardiologist
Collaborate and participate in department related projects and/or teams focused on improvement opportunities as needed
Perform other related operational duties as needed including, but not limited to; transporting patients, office/clerical functions, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining supplies in rooms, and cleaning ultrasound equipment
Qualifications/Experience
Education/Accredited Programs
High School Diploma or GED Required
Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program required
Experience
1-3 years of ultrasound experience preferred but not required
Experience working in an inpatient setting highly preferred
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
ARDMS or ARRT registered or registry eligible in an Ultrasound discipline required (eligible candidates must obtain certification within two years of hire date)
BLS Certification required

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $30.57 to $56.77 per hour.
