Senior Consultant (Aerospace & Defence)

Description
The Senior Consultant will lead Infor LN technical & functional delivery for complex ERP Implementation programmes within the Aerospace and Defence industry. This role involves being hands‑on with integrations, data migration, testing and stakeholder leadership - leveraging strong commercial / consulting skills to deliver the best business outcomes for Infor’s customers across the UK&I.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Leading Infor LN implementations and module configuration (manufacturing, MRO, finance, procurement, inventory).
- Translating business requirements into LN functional designs and technical specifications.
- Designing and delivering integrations (Infor OS / ION, REST/SOAP, APIs, middleware) and managing interface contracts.
- Owning data migration: mapping, cleansing, ETL and validation.
- Overseeing testing and releases: functional, integration, UAT, regression and deployment coordination.
- Providing technical customisation guidance (scripts, Mongoose/extensions) and collaborate on DB/SQL performance tuning.
- Ensure solutions meet A&D regulatory, security and traceability needs; support accreditation/security assessments.
- Mentor junior Consultants, run workshops, and liaise with stakeholders to present options, risks and ROI.
Basic Qualifications:
- Rich background of experience in delivering Manufacturing ERP Transformation projects as part of a Consulting OR internal team within Aerospace, Defence or related industries
- Strong expertise in a Manufacturing or related ERP Software
- Experience of leading UAT, integration testing, regression testing and release management.
- Experience in analysing business requirements / needs and translating them into deliverable functionality within Manufacturing ERP Solutions
- Willingness to travel frequently across the UK
- Security Clearance (SC) / eligibility
- Data migration and SQL/database skills (Oracle/SQL Server).
- Strong stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation and testing/QA leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infor LN ERP
- Exposure to differing delivery methodologies such as Time to Value, agile delivery, etc.
