Job Description

Overview   As a Recreation Attendant at Omni Hilton Head Island, you will play an important role in creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our guests in the recreation and pool areas. In this role, you will assist with daily operations such as towel distribution, bike rentals, retail sales, and guest activities. You will also help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pool and recreation areas while supporting events and assisting with new program ideas.   Key Responsibilities Guest Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, including towel distribution and assistance with poolside activities. Safety & Cleanliness: Monitor guest safety in the pool area and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and recreation areas. Event & Activity Coordination: Lead daily recreational activities, kids’ programs, and assist with special events. Maintenance: Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues. Assist with setting up and arranging pool furniture and recreational equipment. Administrative Duties: Complete required paperwork including checklists, inventory tracking, and basic accounting documentation. Teamwork: Work both independently and collaboratively while following company policies, procedures, and brand standards. Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Tasks: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items, perform cleaning tasks, and remain active throughout the shift. Weather Conditions: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and sun.
