Summary
As part of the Global Tax Team, the Sr. International Tax Analyst will focus on international tax aspects of accounting for income taxes and tax compliance. Primary activities include reviewing and ensuring proper support for income tax provision calculations and serving as an experienced resource on international tax calculations and compliance to support the US tax team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare international tax calculations including Subpart F, BEAT, foreign tax credits, basis, GILTI, FDII, etc.
- Compute current earnings and profits for foreign subsidiaries and maintain accumulated E&P and PTEP pools.
- Work with various global finance teams to gather information required to complete the international forms, disclosures and statements of the US Federal income tax return (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8990, 1118, 8975, etc.).
- Work with local contacts to gather information required to complete Pillar 2 obligations, including GIR, QDMTT and any local registrations and notifications.
- Remain current on developments in tax policy, tax legislation, Treasury regulations, Revenue Procedures, etc.
- Provide and populate inputs to the Effective Tax Rate model, analyzing and communicating the effect of those items to the rate, as needed.
- Gather and review income tax provision calculations and supporting documentation from foreign business units, including components of income tax expense, deferred taxes, taxes payable, and uncertain tax provisions.
- Assist with adjustments and maintain One Source Tax Provision for the foreign entities.
- High focus on communication with and support of the tax team members with a willingness to support ad hoc Federal, State and Transfer Pricing requests.
- Work with Treasury to provide necessary information to support functions driven by international operations (e.g., dividends, loans, WHT, FX rates, etc.).
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements in the immediate area of responsibility.

- Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed.
Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
- Advanced degree/CPA preferred.
- High-level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
- Experience in One Source Income Tax and One Source Tax Provision (preferred).
- General knowledge of federal income taxation of international transactions.
- Understanding of ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.
