Pay | : | HK$17,286 to HK$26,908 (HGPS point 2 to 9) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | ||

Key Responsibilities: | ||||
Perform basic clerical duties under supervision. The typical duties include: | ||||
1. | Perform 24-hour shift duties, including Sunday and public holiday and adverse weather condition, at X-ray reception counter in Accident and Emergency Department (AED). | |||
2. | Act as relieving officer to support other reception counters in the Main Department | |||
3. | Perform clerical tasks, including appointment booking, registration, data input, etc. | |||
4. | Operate and maintain RIS and related system data input. | |||
5. | Perform data entry, handling of Radiology Report, help with the retrieval and filing of clinical/medical record. | |||
6. | Collect, verify and compile statistics. | |||
7. | Provide support and assist in inventory management of supplies & store | |||
8. | Screen, keep record of and distribute incoming/outgoing correspondence. | |||
9. | Updating and distribution of circulars. | |||
10. | Communicate with clients/patients to answer inquiries and support departmental services. | |||
11. | Co-ordinate with wards and radiographers to arrange urgent portable case(s); and arrange patient transport and triage of patients. | |||
12. | Operate alarm panels when necessary. | |||
13. | Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s). | |||

Entry Requirements: | ||||
1. | (a) | Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. | ||

| ||
| (b) | 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: - Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent. | ||
2. | Ability to perform typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing. | |||

Preferable Attributes/Exposure: | ||||
1. | Knowledge and experience in HA IT systems (e.g. RIS, IPAS, OPAS). | |||
2. | Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. E-mail, Fax, Internet/ Intranet etc.) and PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese input method. | |||
3. | Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement. | |||
4. | Good interpersonal skills. | |||
5. | Able to work independently and under pressure. | |||
6. | Preference will be given to those who has working experience in clinical area or X-Ray Department. | |||
