Pay : HK$19,764 – HK$24,701 per month

Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Provide quality blood taking service.

2. Perform ECG, visual acuity test.

3. Provide specimen collection service.

4. Perform basic vital sign measurement and data input.

5. Assist in health assessment according to nursing instruction.

6. Assist doctor/ nurse during specialist medical investigation and other treatment procedures.

7. Assist to check the stock of consumables and equipment.

8. Handle general enquiries and assist in coordinating patient flow and queue control.

9. Instruct patient for investigation and referral service.

10. Prepare medical report/ record for consultation.

11. Perform preparation, cleaning and disinfection of medical equipment and consultation room facilities.

12. Perform chaperon for examination and tasks assigned by clinic in-charge.

Entry Requirements :

1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent. (see Remarks)

2. Possess the following certificates that issued by Hospital Authority (see Remarks):

(a) Module (A): Blood-taking Training under "Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training"; Or

Module (A): Blood-taking Training under "TSA(CA) Training" or equivalent.

(b) Module (B) : ECG Training under "Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training"; Or

Module (B) : ECG Training under "TSA(CA) Training" or equivalent.

3. Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure :

1. Knowledge of PC applications.

2. Mature, presentable and with good communication skill.

3. Experience in blood taking, patient care experience in GOPC general care or special program is preferred.

2. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.

3. Serving staff who have completed F.3 / S.3 or equivalent and have 2 years' care-related experience may also be considered.

4. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S/3 level and eligible to apply for this post.
