As a Group Exploration & Production Low Carbon and New Energies Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact, cross-border initiatives across Hungary and Croatia. You will lead innovative projects focusing on inert gas utilization for data center solutions and drive the implementation of EU methane emission regulations, directly contributing to MOL Group’s sustainability and decarbonization ambitions.

In this role, you go beyond coordination – you connect strategy with execution, working closely with business units, technical experts, and senior stakeholders to deliver measurable results.

How you will contribute

Project leadership & innovation

  • Lead the pilot project on inert gas utilization for data center/computing services in Hungary

  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term strategies for inert gas monetization across Hungary and Croatia

  • Ensure successful implementation of the Group’s first data center-related initiative within E&P

Stakeholder & cross-functional management

  • Act as the main point of contact across MOL Group business units (E&P, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Permitting)

  • Coordinate internal approval processes and ensure smooth project delivery

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at multiple organizational levels

Methane regulation & compliance leadership

  • Coordinate local teams in Hungary and Croatia for the implementation of EU methane regulations

  • Ensure full compliance with all key regulation pillars:

    • monitoring and reporting

    • LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair)

    • zero routine flaring and venting

    • inactive well management

  • Facilitate communication between local asset teams and Group-level stakeholders

Knowledge sharing & alignment

  • Collect and consolidate methane-related regulatory information across the organization

  • Drive knowledge-sharing and best practice exchange between MOL and INA teams

  • Support alignment of local execution with Group-level strategy

What you bring to the team

  • MSc degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in project management, energy, or industrial environment

  • Experience in energy projects, emissions reduction, or regulatory implementation is a strong advantage

  • Exposure to cross-border or international operations

  • Professional level English (written and spoken)

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into decisions

  • Confident stakeholder management across technical and business teams

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multicultural environment

  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office tools

  • Understanding of energy systems and basic energy economics
