Salary: | HK$19,764 – HK$24,701 per month | |
| Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. | |
Key Responsibilities: | ||
1. | Perform the following core duties: | |
- Provision of quality blood taking service and related activities - Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) and related duties. - Provide direct patient care and supportive assistance during the care process, medical check-ups, and other medical treatment procedures. - Assist in processing patient medical records and laboratory reports. - Assist nurses during pre-consultation procedures, including measuring blood pressure, height, and weight, conducting urine tests, and other related tasks. - Monitor patients’ conditions during care and promptly report any abnormal situations to the supervisor. - Assist in coordinating patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations. - Manage clinical waste and provide assistance with patient transport as required. - Perform preparation, cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of medical equipment in the department. - Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the clinic environment. - Provide patient education in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. - Prepare laboratory forms and specimen labels under guidance, and deliver or collect specimen samples. - Assist in stock-taking, inventory management, and the collection of necessary materials to ensure smooth operations. - Assist in clinical audits and data collection for analysis. | ||
2. | Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisors. | |

Entry Requirements: | ||
1. | Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent | |
2. | Possess the following certificate that issued by Hospital Authority (See Remarks): | |
| (a) | Module (A) : Blood-taking Training under "Patient Care Assistant(Clinical Assistant) Training"; Or Module (A) : Blood-taking Training under "TSA(CA) Training" or equivalent. |
| (b) | Module (B) : ECG Training under "Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training"; Or Module (B) : ECG Training under "TSA(CA) Training" or equivalent |
3. | Good command of written Chinese, fluent spoken Cantonese and able to understand simple English. | |
Preferable Attributes / Exposure: | ||
1. | Be mature and possess good communication skills and inter-personal skills. | |
2. | Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure. | |
3. | Possess relevant working experience in blood taking and/or related training in hospital or health care institution. |

- Candidates who have not acquired the entry requirement (2) if found suitable for appointment will receive the Blood-taking Training and ECG Training under “Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training" and at least 6-month in-service training. If the appointees cannot complete the Blood-taking Training and ECG Training under “Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Clinical Assistant) Training" and passed the assessments/tests, their employment with the Hospital Authority may be terminated.
