Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Technical Guidance – Provide expert advice and technical support to the wider BWO organisation on Process Safety / Technical Safety activities in Asset Operations, Projects and Concept Development Verification Activities – Ensure Asset Operations and Projects compliance with Technical Standards, Design Performance Standards and Operational Performance Standards Support the internal verification process, performing process safety verification activities in coordination with the Verification / Continuous Improvement department Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Process Safety Conduct regular performance analysis to uncover weak signals and proactively identify areas of improvement Support development and maintenance of BWO’s Technical Standards Support Level 3 Incident Assessments, where required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical / Process Safety Engineering or other degree relevant to Process / Technical Safety Long relevant experience may replace formal education A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the offshore Oil Gas industry, or closely related industry Technical Safety experience in Projects is required, preferably within the FPSO industry Operational expertise from both project and operations phases of offshore facilities, including experience in audit and verification activities is preferred In-depth knowledge of Technical Safety design and Process Safety Well-versed in relevant international Codes and Standards Good awareness of safety management systems and best practices across the industry.
